The Jettie Baker Center and Wise Main St. Association have partnered to bring you the BEST Derby Day experience in the mountains! The Run for the Roses Derby Day Party will be held on Saturday, May 2nd from 5pm – 10pm at the historic Jettie Baker Center Theater in Clintwood, VA. Join us for the region’s PREMIER Derby Day Party – where “the best two minutes in sports” meets Southern Charm – big hats, fast horses, and a night to remember!
Event Highlights Include:
· Live streaming (on the big screen) of the 152nd running of the Kentucky Derby
· Live Music and dancing featuring Ron Shortt & the Possum Playboys with Special Guests Aaron & Lisa Davis
· Cash bar with Derby-inspired Cocktails/Mocktails and delicious Southern Bites from The Charc Board (of course we will have Mint Juleps!)

· THE INFIELD (general admission) – $25/single OR $45/pair *Includes general admission, viewing of the 152nd KY DERBY, food, music and dancing, non-alcoholic/non-specialty drinks (water, tea, lemonade), photo opportunities, and $50 in Derby Dollars game money per guest.
· THE GRANDSTAND (VIP admission) – $40/single OR $75/pair * Includes reserved seating, viewing of the 152nd KY DERBY, food, music and dancing, non-alcoholic/non-specialty drinks (water, tea, lemonade), photo opportunities, and $50 in Derby Dollars game money per guest PLUS 1 FREE alcoholic/specialty drink AND 1 commemorative souvenir per guest.
